First week with capsule wardrobe

Okej, so I´m guessing you want to see how my first week with the capsule wardrobe has gone. It´s been GOOD. Actually, because I have been very stressed out at work for a lot of reasons, I have been grateful that I don´t have to worry about clothes. Just reach for something and go with it.

This has been my go-to coat all week, autumn is here and I need something a bit warmer than a trenchcoat. The bag is a bargain from my Lisbon-trip, a bag from Guess that kost me about 70 US dollars or 60 euros.

One of my favourite tops is this blue patterned one from Jumperfabriken. I think I need to make a post about them at some point…

A dress that is more lika a pajama, from InWear, a Danish brand. On top of the dress a jacket from H&M. I´m not sure about this dress after seeing this photo, I think I look pregnant! But I´m always complemented when wearing it, so the jury is out on this one at the moment 🙂

I decided to go for a skirt, and a Breton t-shirt from Me & Em that I also got in a sale last year. They make really good quality clothes in simple lines, but are a bit pricey as I have to buy them online from UK. The skirt is Danish brand By Malene Birger.

Away for two days with work for an internal conference. I hardly slept the night before so I look really haggard! I decided to be minimalist and bring two tops and a dress and use the same black cotton jeans both days (we have a relaxed dress-code for these functions). The top is from &OtherStories and the scarf is something I picked up in Paris this summer, with CATS!!

For the dinner we had (which was really really nice) I put on a dress from Phase8 and some bling-bling -earrings and a bracelet.

My colleague Lena has taken all photos except the one from the elevator and wednesday. And what a difference it makes to have a photographer! Thanks Lena!!!

For the second day I wore the same trousers, a blouse from &OtherStories and a cardigan from Emmy. Emmys cardigans are coveted in the vintage retro circles, because they are true to their 40´s and 50´s origins and always well-made. This one is wool and was pricey, but because it is a “forever”-cardigan and I have had it for 3 years now, I don´t mind. Buying quality is fine. The hard thing is knowing when it actually is quality, right?

For the weekend I will wear lounge clothes and maybe a pair of jeans. So no pics.

What do you think of my first week?
